Summer Schools Abroad
One of the types of study abroad is summer school. Summer schools are for students aged 7-17. The goal is to learn a foreign language. The process of summer school abroad starts with making a decision. After the decision, a country is selected. When choosing a country, the advantages and disadvantages of countries should be considered.
- Foreign language education is given at all levels in summer schools. Different classes are available for each level.
- Lessons are taught with a fun learning method. Training is mostly based on speaking practice.
- Lesson times are optional. General English is taught with a 15-hour course per week, while intensive English is taught with a 25-hour course schedule.
- Different activities, from arts to sports, such as theater performances and movie nights, are organized outside of class hours.
- Weekend events are mainly excursion programs.
- Students can attend summer schools alone or with their classmates, teachers, and families.
- Dormitories are mostly preferred for accommodation. In some cases, accommodation with families close to the school is also possible.
